Are You Willing to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are always a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there must be a thing that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? A thing that triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your life because it appears to be nowadays when it comes to the story. How do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I do believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So once we discuss the past stage of the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in all of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It’s kind of like building a big house of cards, stacking on a single card following the other. Then the good wind arrives and poof, it’s just blown over. It can’t even stand a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in everything else; all those things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It surely comes right down to the essence of who is my brother? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this 1?So you’re asking the question, “When someone dies or appears to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. This is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There’s no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to construct his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I have given everything I see all the meaning it has for me.” a course in miracles books (W-2) Then, He works his way around number 4, “These thoughts don’t mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s speaing frankly about thoughts. First He’s speaing frankly about perception, then about our thoughts, then He returns with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts don’t mean anything.” You will see he’s wanting to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, which can be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there’s no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that’s the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to show us that they’re all illusions and that they’re all equally meaningless. That’s exactly the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your head to loosen the attachments from the investment in a myriad of things. What sort of things can you purchase, nowadays?
